For the past few months, I have been in such a rut and I have been extremely depressed with my body. But I haven’t been doing anything about it. Instead of hating it I decided to love it. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to give up. If anything, I’m going to continue to fight my inner battle between having no motivation and wanting a hot af, strong, healthy, and awesome body so within time I know that I’m going to get to the place I want to be. Now is the time where I’m going to try and love and appreciate my body for the way it is and work towards my ultimate goal. I didn’t even know how much fun it was to take photos of my body! I usually nope around and think negative things about my body when looking in the mirror, but today, I made sure to stay positive and I had the best time joking around and loving myself!

Taking these photos made me realize that even though I’m not at the point where I’d like to be with my body, I should always remain positive and continuously do fun things that make me really appreciate the body I’ve been “blessed with”/given.

Self-love is one of the most important things out there. Coming from someone who’s dealt with so many body insecurities, I can honestly say that when you’re happy with your body and love yourself for who you are and how you look, you don’t care what others have to think or say about you. And that’s the most powerful and empowering feeling in the entire world.

Seeing both of these absolutely gorgeous women do this kind of makes me want to do it too. Lately I’ve been trying to combat my negative body esteem and I think doing one of these will say “fuck you” to the horrible self-perception that I have.
